Hey,

basically i had this computer built for me so that the spec would be as high as i would of hoped and been able to run games like World of Warcraft but it seems that even though my settings are on low and verticle sync is off im still experience very low fps. Below is my spec:

OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

i7 Processer 950@ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs) ~ 3.1GHz

6144MB Ram

Direct X version 11

My GFX Card is Geforce 8400 GS and says the current display mode is 1920x1080 (32 bit)

Could anyone please assist me as to what could be wrong, also while typing this im feeling slight delay as if this is starting to lag also.

Thanks

ah ok thank you for your help, could u possibly recomend a decent one that can cope well. Thanks

That would depend on your budget, both money and power.

HD6670 (w/GDDR5) < GTX550Ti or HD6770 < HD6850 or GTX460 < HD6870 or GTX560 < GTX560Ti.

Consider also the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU. At the low end, a HD6670 will run on a good 300W PSU. At the upper end, you'll want 500W for a GTX560Ti. Note that some brands like Diablotek, Logisys, and Apevia are PSU-shaped objects, maybe good for half of what is on their labels.
