Win7 32-bit slows network

Hello,
I have upgraded my existing computers from win2k to win7 except for 3 machines. My servers are running Win2003 server. When copying files through the network from server to backup, network is extremely slow. When I shut down win7 machines network flys. I give up...Any ideas?

Thanks Darkwolf. I have been running circles with this for months. I will check out your links. Just an update, I have tried drivers, disable IE as server, disabled server in services, shut down tcp v6 & topography. It helped speed up the network, but still nowhere near what it should be.
