Planning on building near release of Ivy Bridge:
I'm going to be using this setup for video rendering, basic use etc, NO gaming (will upgrade to include a gfx card in future, which will be when I game)
Also I am UK based, so can any suggestions be uk based websites? or etc? Thanks
so without a graphics card for the time being (so i can get a faster cpu) how does this sound:

CPU: Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge processor:
No link as of yet

MoBo: Ivybridge Ready Asus P8Z77-V LX Intel Z77 Socket 1155 Motherboard:

RAM: 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333mhz:

PSU: Corsair CX600 V2

NZXT Source 210 Elite (White):

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO:

Extra 120mm Fan (will it work with the 212 EVO?):

I have a hard drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor and I have windows 7.

Any thoughts?

looks good, get ddr3 1600 ram

Yes, the fan will work with the cooler. Just get some rubber bands, or perferrably hair bands to attach the fan's 4 corners to the heatsink. The fan's not going to have a speed control on it unless you have a separate controller. Because of this, it might be a little loud.

Yeah I don't care about sound at all to be honest, I'm going to be using either a headset or earphones near enough all the time anyways, thanks guys :)

alvine, you suggested ddr3 1600 ram, it'd still come as ddr3 1333 right, and then I'd have to overclock?

Not sure if you would call it overclocking rather then just turning the ram to the rated speed, but yes you would need to go into bios and change it. Easy to do.

It is still OCing. :p

So is my 1600 DDR3 OCed even though they came at 1600 even though some come 1333. (same brand and all)

Photonboy the one I linked to has a fan, I just want the extra fan so I can have a push pull system :)

Thanks for your words anyway guys, anyone got any concerns / predictions on if it will run tasks well without the gpu?
I have no idea if GPU affects things like rendering, photoshop etc :p
