Hey everyone!

I am building my first rig. I have been doing a lot of research, and I am still puzzled on what motherboard, and graphics card I should start with. I am even a little unsure of what cpu I want.

I have a $1500 budget so this will by no means be a super gaming pc. Just something to get me in the game, as well as something that is ready for upgrades as the time comes.

any help, recommendations, or building tips would be amazing.

Approximate Purchase Date: Mid to Late April

Budget Range: $1500 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gamming

Parts Not Required: Need Everything

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg/Amazon

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: Intel cpu

Overclocking: yes

SLI or Crossfire: Yes (If in budget)

Monitor Resolution: best for budget

Additional Comments: I would rather spend money on performance then glamor.

Thank you for your time,

Joseph M.

Hi! Welcome to the forums.

You didn't really give us alot of information. Would you mind sticking this in your original post? http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advic...

If you are unsure of how to go about picking parts, here's a pretty informative little video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw&feature=relm...

Look at the two of those, build a draft PC and put additional information in your post. We'll move from there.

Cheers!
