Thanks for the input. Can I get a 2nd opinion on this build here? Just before I buy.

What I meant by that is you can reuse the whole build but instead of buying the 2500K to buy the 3770K when it's available instead.

That's not what I meant. I meant when the 3770K is available that same build will look like this:

Try this:

PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - $109.99
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77XP-UD3H - $169.99
CPU: 3.3GHz Intel Core i5-3770K - $230
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - $34.99
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB 1333Mhz 1.5V - $40.99
SSD: 64GB Crucial M4 - $89.99
HD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda ST - $119.99
Optical: Lite On DVD Burner - $17.99
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 680 - $509.99
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium - $99.99
Monitor: ViewSonic VA2431WM Glossy Black 23.6" Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor w/Speakers

Total: $1,564.89

Instead of this:

Try this:

PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - $109.99
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77XP-UD3H - $169.99
CPU: 3.30GHz Intel Core i5-2500K - $219.99 (sub in i5-3770K when available)
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - $34.99
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB 1333Mhz 1.5V - $40.99
SSD: 64GB Crucial M4 - $89.99
HD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda ST - $119.99
Optical: Lite On DVD Burner - $17.99
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 680 - $509.99
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium - $99.99
Monitor: ViewSonic VA2431WM Glossy Black 23.6" Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor w/Speakers

Total: $1,564.89

Now figure in shipping cost and Canadian Provincial tax and the OP is looking at well over $1,700+.

The gtx 680's sold out everywhere after the first week of their release. What you can do is use the on-die graphics (HD3000) on the cpu until they come back in stock. See if direct canada will let you pre-order those cards, if not just keep checking on here and newegg, direct canada, etc... all the retailers should get those cards in stock at the same day, but when that day comes is anyone's guess.

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=10530BD9683&vpn=P8Z77-V%20LX&manufacture=ASUS $148.04
ASUS P8Z77-V LX Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 CrossFireX 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard

Seeing how your waiting for those gtx 680's to come in stock, I would suggest waiting until April 29th for the release of Ivy Bridge to see if that's worth purchasing. Some of those Z77 boards meant for Ivy Bridge cpu's are already in stock at the retailers including Direct Canada, and by the time that cpu is released more will be on the shelves. That way you have a chance to see the benchmarks/reviews to know what choice to make in regards to what build to go with. Ivy Bridge builds are the same price as the Sandy Bridge builds...no real difference.

Yeah I always forget about tax on foreign builds - the nice thing about UK and EU builds is that the VAR tax is included. But they usually don't quote shipping rates in most stores outside the US.

So is it worth waiting for Ivy Bridge? I heard that for gaming it doesn't make much difference.. only video editing, etc..

Ivy's biggest selling factor despite a 15% increase in speed will be the unlocking of PCI Gen 3 - and if you plan on using a 680 - you won't want it watered down.
