I would not buy a Rosewill PSU. Get a better brand or you will be replacing a bunch of your computer parts after it fries them.

Eh, I'd consider Rosewill a Tier 3 manufactuere, Hiper would be one step better, and then you have your Tier 1's... OCZ, Seasonic, Fortran, Enermax, TT, PC P&C, Corsair...

I have the Hyper 580watt PSU and I love it. Clean, very stable, lots of neat features, and the patented aviation-style modular connectors are badass! I wanted the red one but I could only get black :-/ Oh well still the same PSU and it works great. Got it on www.frozencpu.com for $99.

BTW they have cool keyboards too :p

Sure, here is the system I am building:

AM2 3800+ or AM2 4600+ 64 X2
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP
eVGA 256-P2-N615-TX GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

I am thinking of skipping the 4200+ (hence either going wiht 3800+ or 4600+) because of the 2200Mhz clock and odd DDR2 divisor (I want to run DDR2-800) "problem".

Thanks,

From what I've seen Rosewill doesn't manufacture anything, they sell rebranded items. Some good, some not so good. Their cases are manufactured by Apex/Allied, the ramsticks were PQI, etc., etc. From what I've seen Enermax and Seasonic make a good portion of the brand name power supplies. Try Seasonic - super quiet and reliable.

I'll agree except take TT down to tier 2. I think Hyper could be tier one if their efficiency was better, but hey, most modulars are low efficiency

The TT Toughpower series are some of the best PSU's out there... Quad 12V rails, stable as heck, and pretty damn efficent. The smaller ones probably would qualify as a Tier 2, but the Toughpower definitly runs with the best of them, and their modular solutions are also really nice.
