Good half mini pcie card for laptop battery life

im looking for a good wireless card for my m11x. the current card. (piece of c*** eats battery life.) gets good connection but i want some thing that is good for increasing the battery life of my laptop even more.

why do you think its the wireless card that uses so much power?

because ive read in alot of forums that it is a crappy default card that uses alot of power. i also went to a local computer repair store who has an m11x like me and he switched out his default and got much better battery life.
