Sapphire 6850's xfire?

I know all these parts won't effect the graphics card but I figure you can't be too careful also, will the HAF 912 fit everything? (2 6850's)

i think you may need a more powerful PSU depends on the amps but i think that one only has 1 set of vga power leads anyway

Most sources say you need at least 650w for two of those, but I think you should be fine. i would not try to overclock them or anything. You do have the connectors required.

Yup but just be aware that it will run CF @ 16x/4x but I hear 68xx series and above are optimized so as to mitigate the negative effects to an acceptable margin of error and you PSU will be more than enough 6850 draws 127watts max power draw under load.

1 6pin power connecter for one 6850 = 127watts max power draw per card = 600watts PSU of good quality is just fine.

Yes, but I was more concerned by his slightly lower than average amps available on the +12v rail.

80+ bronze PSU like the quality Seasonic one in question has 576watts on the +12v rail and 24amps which is plenty being CF 6850 would only need just under half of the max out put the +12v rail can output on this PSU. 6850 just sip the juice and you could get away with allot less on it.

You can play on maxed settings but that doesn't mean you will always have 60fps on one 6850 @ even 720p 2x 6850 is golden @ up to 1080p tho.

Well you can max out most games with it at around 6 fps

I max out Darksiders 2 on a 5670 with 30 fps.

Well Got all the parts and only one 6850 to start. I put it all together and Ill look at the performance ommorow and see if another one in xfire is worth it.
