I have a 6870 buying a second one for Crossfire im choosing between the MSi Hawk and the Xfx Double D i want to know which one will run cooler

What's your current card? That is, do you need a second card that'll OC like crazy? If the original wasn't sold as an OC model, getting a great OCer for a second card won't help, and you should just save money and get a cheaper board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814127545
...because this one should have cooling as good as the Hawk's with a less aggressively binned chip.

im currently using reference model video card and i have to say it runs hot like 85c on full load http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150506
that why im looking in for one that runs cooler

Get my non-OCed Twin Frozr above, then. That should work almost as well as the Hawk.
