Hi guys...

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a 4800 dpi scanner...
should be here soon.

Now the issue is... somewhere somehow I recall that there
was some 3rd party software that would enable me to pull
raw data off it.

Anyone know what that software is? Or is my memory growing
even worse :)

Maybe Vuescan (www.hamrick.com) or Silverfast (Google it, and it's
expensive), but you will need to check scanner compatibility.
