hii.

i have
i5 2500,
DH 61WWB CLASSIC MOTHER BOARD
I BALL Piano 126 250W SUPPLY
seagate 500gb
sony dvd writer
4GB RAM

i'm having a problem of over heating cpu!!
first time, mother board get replaced, but again it happened.
temp of cpu reaches 95c.
someone help meeee!!

What cooler are you using?

Did you apply thermal paste?

Did you connect the fan?

Is it secured properly.

CPUs don't overheat from a faulty board.

Did you remove the protective covering off the bottom of the CPU heatsink prior to installing? Are you sure that the CPU heatsink is properly installed?

Call the service guy again and tell him about the heating issue, or try the advices above.

Thermal paste is a semi liquid that goes inbetween the CPU and the heatsink to improve cooling by filling in microscopic impuritys in the metals.

Anand,in which state do you live.check ebay and flipkart and finalise decision with mobo,you can get h61 motherboards around 3000rs

recent intel boards are crap both net n service personnels confirms it!!
so i'm planning to buy a new mobo n graphics card
if i'm not going to upgrade for 4yrs min
n i need to buy a graphics card worth rs4000
whats ur opinion??

intel motherboard is not crap,but their service take too much time.
i suggest you to change your smps too
i dont think you can play games with a 4000rs graphics card!
your cpu is excellent for playing games but your budget for graphics card not enough(for a good gpu you need 11000rs)
there is another problem if your psu is 250w as stated by you,power for your system is very low

since you are budget limited you cannot get smps with pci-e power cable,so buy smps with additional 4 peripheral cables(2 is enough for the first mentioned gpu)

sorry, i have iball 450w normal smps which came combined with my icall case.
Suggest me a suitable mother board n really its the problem with my intel dh61 wwb as service guys says coz in net too many reported the same.
I replaced it 3 tyms n now its again sent for repair within 13 months of repair which means i cud hardly see it in my cpu!
So i'm planning to buy asus! Pls check if its the problem with h61 chipset or earth problem(no sensation of earth) voltage variation( i hav a v guard cpu, dont its working!) pls suggest a solution.
Does the graphics card supports directx 11, physx, games lyk batman arkhan asylum, mass effect 3 etc, is 512mb enough?
also dont it need additional power supply.
I hav no idea abt graphic cards. Pls help.

my cousin leaves in kanjirappally!

your budget is too limited for you,i recommended the best for your budget.yeah the graphics card requires additional power and since you are not buying new smps you can use two ide cable for powering your gpu,i think your iball got two ide cable(which need to be free!).

go for the hd 4850 if you need rs4000's gpu.it wouldnot support dx11,but all games support dx10 so dont bother about it.i am using dx10-GTX 285 gpu.

if you need dx 11 and average performance you need 8000rs


yes asus mobo is best available to as,i think asrock is best too(it is new to our market)
