Hello everyone! I am a bit inexperienced computer user therefore I decided to ask someone who has better knowledge on the matter. My old video card does not work anymore therefore I have to buy a new one. My only one question is whether Asus P5E motherboard supports Radeon HD6790? Thanks in advance!

Your motherboard will support it , but does your power supply allow it?

Have a look inside your computer for the power supply , usually found at the top of your pc case where the power cord plugs into. There should be a sticker , could you tell us the brand , model and wattage that is on there ?

It is Zalman, 500W. If necessary I can open the PC case and tell the model name. CPU is DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E8200, RAM is 4 GB.

You are set and good to go, your power supply will power the 6790 perfectly.
