Hi all, this is a bit of an on-going Saga I'm afraid. :pfff:

Bought my graphics card:
XFX Radeon HD 5750 - Graphics adapter - Radeon HD 5750 - PCI Express 2.0 x16 - 1 GB GDDR5 - DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
Link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002SOX9W2

For the following set-up:
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz processor,
Motherboard is Ausus LEONITE Version 5.00
PCI-E x16 slot.
Windows 7,
2gb DDR2 RAM,
500 Watt power supply,
PSU make: OCZ StealthXStream2 500w Silent ATX2 Power Supply 80PLUS
Link: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/powersupplies/ocz500sxs2-uk.html?#utm_source=affiliatewindow&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=Driving+Revenue

Now I (or rather my brother, it's his rig) get blank screen from start-up but fan spins on graphics card - so far I've read this could be a power supply issue (which kind of sucks cos I bought the new PSU for the system - maybe if I wasn't such a tightass it would have been fine!! )

As always, I am indebted to you all for your wisdom and technomancy....

Ever need a place to crash in the UK let me know in 6 months to a year or so. But no eating me.

Cheers all!

Silly question, but do you plug your monitor cable to the card? Not the motherboard? Make sure you do it to the card?
Or try updating motherboard drivers? Or try changing graphics in BIOS to 'PCI-E' instead of 'Onboard/Integrated/Whatever' . Worth a try when they don't do that automatically (the motherboard).
