Hello
I use my computer mostly to play games and surfing internet and for multimedia purposes. I know taht many things are going to change
during next months but I think only one strong dual core cpu will be enough for me on my current config(I have a socket 939 Asus A8NE)
Do you think an Opteron 165 is a wise buy or one X2 athlon64 ?
And could you please tell me does 1000Mhs hypertransport speed
of Opterons have any negative affect on the performance or not?

Thank you for your help
I think I will buy it
but another question . Do you know if my MB (Asus A8NE nforce4 ultra)
will support this CPU or not? And what about My Memory
(Non-ECC pc3200 512Mb Kingstone X2 =1Gb)
And if I decide to upgrade my memory to 2Gb are non-ecc memories are good enough(because ecc memories are expensive)

Yes, it will work on your A8N-E and yes, it will run with non-ECC RAM. GL :)
