Hi all!

I am helping my friend build a new pc. He is wanting to game mostly Crysis, BF3, Skyrim, Shogun 2 and the like. He wants to spend less the $200 for the processor. He wants to buy either from microcenter or newegg. He will be using all stock cooling, and does not want the CPU overclocked at all. He has not purchased any parts for the new computer at all, but stated he intends stock cooling and absolutely no overclocking, any suggestions?

Thanks in advanced!

depends on your friend's pc's motherboard. if you don't have one already - a core i5 2500k

or 3570k

even without overclocking and at stock clockrate, those are good for gaming.
for no overclocking, a partially unlocked core i5 3450

you can still oc it using turbo multiplier with a mobo that allows cpu oc e.g. z77 chipset mobo.
