I'm wondering what you all raced this circuit with? It's extremely hard
for me, requiring little tweaks here and there but I stil only managed
to complete the first track in 3rd (5 seconds behing leader). On a plus
note, that placing established a relationship with the UK for me, and
they sent me a DB7! Anyways, anybody won? Which car did you go with?

I haven't gotten that far, but I just wanted to say that I'm ADDICTED to
this sim. The more I play, the more I like it. I've been hours just
running test laps and tweaking the setup of my Audi TT and Acura NSX.
I've also spent a couple of hours doing nothing more than painting and
doing detail Decal work. As you get more upgrades you realize how
awesomely adjustable the setup is if you earn the upgraded parts.

I *LOVE* this sim!

I was able to do it with the Border MR2 - weight reduction, Y1 tires,
and I think the intercooler. Strangely, the order matters. If you put
them in a different order, you'll get a B4 instead of C1. (At least it
did for me, I think)

Tricky though, it was neck & neck with the Impreza and this grey car
(GTO?). They were quicker on the straightaways, I was better in the
corners. Once I got ahead I would have to block them from passing on
straights.

This is why this game is a lot better (IMHO) than GT4. In that, all
you have to do is add more horsepower. In this, a lot of different
cars are competive. And the racing is much more exciting.

This game is the most accessible sim racing game ever! The first 20%
of the game (approx.) is a tutorial. After all you can beat those
earlier races just doing it GT style. Make yourself a much better car
and blow them out. Then the game slowly forces you to work with cars
on a more even footing, and finally giving you races where tires and
fuel play a role.

A great game that lets you settle into its true depth instead of
thrusting you in with little direction.

interesting...even with one minor (exhaust) enhancement, I wasn't able
to do any weight reduction without breaking class. I gave up on that for
awhile and went with the rotary race with the Mazda MX8. The first
track in that race is amazing. Very Daytona-ish. Good way to rack up 10k
over and over as winning that track is a no brainer. I'll have to try it
in that order next time, perhaps go with my mr2.

The "Class" races are already working my last nerve.
You have to be so freaking careful how you tweak the car, you have to really
study which car will work best for each class (opponents you face), you have
to race almost a perfect race to beat them and I am not even 25% done the
career mode. Now I am all for a challenge but this is getting tedious quick.
I don't want to have to put so much effort into a game that I am still
"basically" at the beginning of. I guess it is going to take months to
complete.
