Video Card Issue

Just installed a new Asus HD 6770 graphic card. My computer is attached to my tv via hdmi. The problem is system will not boot or display after reboot/startup or after gong to sleep. I have to unplug the hmdi for system to boot. Once booted I can plug in my hdmi and it works fine. I have installed the latest driver. Any suggestions???

Wait, so it won't even boot if its plugged into the TV?
Can you try it with a different display? Is it running through a receiver/amplifier?
What if you turn off/unplug the tv?

Set up your CCC settings.
Change your system power option profile to performance.

jryan, yes it won't boot when the hdmi is plugged, whether tv is on or off. it works just fine if I load using vga.

davcon, system profile is already set to performance.
