  1. Your card most likely can handle up to 1920x1200 which is what the Hanns-G is. I have one, its amazing. You may not be able to crank everything to ultra on all games, but most im sure will be smooth as butter. Go with the Hanns-G, 16:10 aspect ratio is far superior to 16:9 which is what 1080p is.

The Reason I was thinking of the HP over the Hanns G was because one, the reviews, and two because it has the glossy screen which doesnt bother me cause I have good ambiance in my room and I heard it really helps the colors pop out in gaming over a mat finish screen. And the brightness and backlighting is amazing on the HP. Is the Hanns still bright and colorful?
  3. Yes. Had mine for almost 2 years now and its great. 1080p gaming for me looks terrible. 1920x1200 is perfect for gaming tho. Id buy another one if I needed it heh. Can find them on open box at newegg for $123, the Hanns-G I mean.

Why does 1080p gaming look bad? Thx for input btw
  5. He probably means playing games on a 16:9 screen feels a bit weird.

I prefer playing games on a 16:10 screen like 1920x1200 resolution just because I'm used to it.
  6. Until you try 1920x1200 its hard to explain. SUffice to say, the Hanns-G 28 is the best deal on a monitor right now period. You just cant prepare yourself for just how large this monster is.
