found a good deal on this desktop and was just wondering if this would be good for playing games once in a while? (im open to most games such as bf3, mass effect, mw3, sports, etc)

here are the specs:
Intel Core i3-550 processor
4GB DDR3 SDRAM memory
1TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)
Intel HD graphics (built into processor)

would installing a graphics card & power supply help?

thanks in advanced

The processor and the mem specs seem fine. The memory can be expanded to 8gb, but any memory setting above 4gb would require the installation of a 64-bit operation system (which may already be present). You are DEFINATELY going to need a new psu, as the stock psu maxes out at 300w. A Corsair CX430 V2 should be about $45 and should get the job done nicely. For a GPU I recommended a 6790 or a 6850 for balance. Of course you can always increase or decrease as you see fit.
