Can someone please clarify my processor speed?

Hi, please forgive me if this is the incorrect section, but I have an issue concerning my processor speed.

I recently bought a laptop for my father for him to use for basic tasks etc. and it was advertised as "Intel Celeron dual core T3500 2.1GHz processor speed".

I have found in the properties section when right-clicking my computer that it says "intel celeron cpu b800 1.50ghz".

I know little about computers, so I'm not sure whether I've been mis-sold the laptop, or whether my lack of knowledge is confusing me into thinking the processor and its speed is in fact different from what was advertised.

I would be grateful if someone could please elaborate on this, as I would like to be better informed before contacting the retailer otherwise I'm sure they will run rings round me if they try to fob me off!

Thanks for your reply. I've downloaded and run CPU-Z and reiterates the same- B800 @ 1.50GHz.

I'll contact them and see what happened. Thanks again.
