First time pc builder here. I have everything setup, with most of the wiring done. The only problem I have is connecting my graphics card to my PSU. I have the Radeon 6970 and a seasonic s12 620w PSU ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Power%20Supplies-_-SeaSonic%20USA-_-17151096&AID=10440897&PID=3938566&SID=).

The 6970 needs two wires, right? A 6 pin and an 8 pin coming from he psu? The 6 pin goes in fine, the 8 pin doesn't. I don't want to apply too much pressure (especially if I don't even need the 8 pin).

Anyway, is putting the 8 pin normally difficult? And do I need both the 8 pin and the 6 pin?

Thanks.
