GTX 570 resolution issue

This has probably been asked before, but I am curious.

I just built my rig.

I am running a GTX 570 connected to my Insignia NS-LBD32X-10A 1080p television through HDMI.

When running 1920x1080 resolution, the screen expands beyond the display, and the icons on the left and menubar on the bottom are cut off.

I have read issues with overscan, but the TV site says to adjust overscan on the GPU and the nvidia site says adjust overscan on the Television.

I cannot find an overscan option on anything, and I want to run my setup in 1080p

Anyone have this issue, and fix it?

I had the exact same problem with my insignia 1080p tv when I connected it to my pc. The way to fix it is to click menu on your remote. Then go in the picture tab go down to advanced video and click on that. Overscan should be one of the options, then turn if off.
