Hello,

I have a Gigabyte GTX 580 1.5gb(GV-N580D5-15I-B) graphics card in my computer and i now want to get two new monitors. I want to have one horizontal desktop across this dual monitor setup. I have found that the max resolution for the card is 2560 x 1600. So my question is if that resolution is supported for each screen or is that to be divided by two?
Would it for example support running two Dell Ultrasharp u2711?

Thankful for any help on this!

Cheers/Dag

It is by screen limit, the resolution does not half itself if you use two monitors , it will display both monitors up to the monitors max res, if they are both 2560 x 1600 then they will both use that res , if both monitors are max res 1920x1220 they will both use that resolution

Great, thank you all!

For anyone else who wonders and read this, beware that it seems you will also need to have DVI Dual link capability on your card ports for resolutions above 1920x1080.
