I have a Dell Inspiron 620. It has an integrated Intel graphics chipset with an HDMI and VGA out. I'm interested in driving two more monitors - one with DVI or HDMI on my TV (to watch movies!) and a second with VGA to display a relatively static web site (for calendaring, etc.)

I don't want to go overboard on this. What would the community recommend as a suitable 2nd graphics card. I have 1 PCI x16 and 3 PCI x1 slots available.

Most of the Dell motherboards that I have messed with wont allow the use of onboard and expansion graphics cards at the same time, you might want to look for an expansion card that will support 4 monitors by itself. As a matter of fact I believe Dell has such a board. You could also buy a couple PCI X 1 cards that would support one
dvi and one VGA display per card.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like it's not as simple as I had hoped! :-)
