I fried my cpu and motherboard a couple of months ago. I bought a cheap cpu and motherboard to just have access to the internet to pay bills. I am looking to get Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 but need to know if it is even possible to get a CPU, Motherboard, and Memory in the $350 or less price range.

I have a PSU, graphics card, case, hdd, track ball, keyboard, speakers. I only need those 3 items. I need it to be as cheap as possible and no more than $350.

I will upgrade other parts later, so suggestions for other parts are welcome but not necessary.

BTW, please don't start the Intel vs. AMD debate. I understand there are differences. :??:

Thank you for any and all assistance.

North Carolina doesn't get charged tax. Shipping is free on the 2500K, and the RAM. 4.99 on the mobo. So like I said, around 360$. SHIPPED.

What's the difference between G. Skill, Patriot, and Corsair (vengeance/ dominator)?

Also, I would like to OC but it isn't necessary. Could I OC memory or cpu with this setup?

All 3 of them are equally quality brands in my opinion.

Yes you can overclock with that setup. An Intel chip is overclock-able if it has a "K" after the numbers.
