I'm doin great. I'm finished studying and I'm now working as an IT Technical Support Consultant! :)

Now, it is my orders to go and RENAME your computer to something more exciting! lol

I got the idea for this thread from an Aussie Broadband forum. My favorite was a guy who named his PC "Moobox" and his laptop "Mini-moo".

Mine are as lame as it gets. My desktop system is named Desktop and my notebook system is named Notebook. I did it that way so I could distinguish them on my home network because the shared files are set up the same on both computers.

So, every fix you do now, Scandisk and Defrag is it? Maybe Chkdsk for NTFS drives? If not, you're bringing down the good name of IT support everywhere.

Main PC is Jef. Other PC is XP (real original huh? That was my first XP build and it stunk. I mean stuck.) Server is server, wife's is Trina.

The best is my friend Matt. His PC name and online gaming name is MyAss. So you get interesting notes like <i>Jef fragged MyAss</i> or "Jef, where are you?" "I'm right behind MyAss!" or when we get really into the BF1942 games, you might hear "FCUK YOU MYASS!!" when he kills us, or "I finally got MyAss!!" when we tag him. Pretty funny sometimes! :lol:
