I currently planning to upgrade my 5670 to a more powerful card around 150-200 bucks. I was wondering if i should upgrade my 460w power supply for my new card as well. My cpu is a 1045t if that makes a difference.

It depends on what you finally decide on for a new card. And it also depends on what else the PSU is powering. Here is a PSU calculator you can use once you settle on a card.

I would look at either a GTX 560 or a HD 6870 at that price range.

Since a 6870 is in your price range it uses about 150W Max, so you should be OK but you need 2X6 pin power connectors.

+1 ^ That is correct. I forgot to add that. But As an alternative, the card will come with Molex to PCIe adapters I believe. Check to be sure, though, if you don't have the 2/6 pin.
