More about home build advice please
  1. Sorry - should have stated: UK build, budget c.£1K.
    OS already owned.
  2. Check right before you order if IB and Z77 is out where you're buying. You may want a 7200rpm HDD... it's better. That RAM is very expensive. Also, an i5-2500k will suit gaming needs perfectly... any higher is really impractical.

If you used the format stickied at the top of this subforum, we'd be able to help you out more.
  3. That OCZ 700w isn't one to be recommended. That particular line of OCZ psu's are manufactured by Sirtec for OCZ and they are pretty much junk. Here's some idea's to look at.

Ivy Bridge cpu's are due out April 29th. £97.60
Corsair Carbide Series 500R Mid-Tower Gaming Case (Black) <----- A better look at that case £62.39 inc. VAT
750W OCZ ZS Series 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply

    or... £70.24
OCZ ZS Series 750 W PC Power Supply (OCZ-ZS750W-EU) £109.99 inc vat Free Delivery
    GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) Motherboard £167.99
    (inc. VAT)
Intel i5-3750K Ivy Bridge CPU 3.4Ghz £29.99 inc vat
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler £259.99
    Sapphire Technology ATI Radeon 7870 1000MHz 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI

    or... £262.79 inc. VAT
    Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £72.00
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB Hard Drive (7200rpm) SATA 64MB (Internal)
