vs

ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

In an attempt to cut my budget computer a little more, would the Biostar board really cause any issues over using the ASrock?

with I5-2400, and 6870, (for gameing/3D modeling)

  1. P67 = OC capable, no access to integrated graphics (on chip), discrete gpu required

Z68 = OC capable, integrated graphics capable (on chip), discrete gpu not required

I say go with the z68.
  2. This one is recommended a lot here, kind of right between your 2 price ranges and probably the best of both worlds.
