My Specs - OCZ 650 Watt PSU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Yorkfield 2.66 GHz
Gigabyte Radeon HD 6770 1 GB GDDR5
4 GB of DDR2 RAM
P5KPL-AM/PS LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Motherboard
500 GB SATA HD with Windows XP preloaded
DVD-R/CD-R Combo Optical Drive
7 Cooling Fans

I was using the computer (Internet, youtube, etc) and then it had froze up, then the screen had went black. I had rebooted the computer, no luck. Screen was still black. The computer boots up fine, fans, lights etc turn on. Help!

My first suspicion would go against the GPU, can you check in another computer?

Most probably the RAM or GPU. Unplug your RAM and put a new one and see, if you are using like 2x 2GB, and you have 4 slots try putting them in different ways. Permutation!
