Alright guys,Ill admit..and i hate admitting it but i think my 6100 is bottlenecking my 7950...hardcore.80fps inside metro on ultra on bf3?But here my question...I want to upgrade processors.either an 8150 (Because i already have a am3+ mobo) Or for about $335 a 3570k,MSI MOBO with a pci express 3.0

I figured...Damn i dont really wanna switch over but my main concern is...Will this 3570k bottleneck 2 7950's and will i get fast video rendering speeds than my 6100? (thats my main concern)... also bottlenecking.Ive come to the conclusion amd is fighting a losing battle...But please no we told you so...Not in the mood for that tonight. But what do you guys think,3570k or 8150? OR Wait for PileDriver

The 2500K/3570K will always be better in games at the same clocks, but an OC to the 6100/8150 can close the gap to a stock 2500K/3570K.

The 6100 probably IS bottlenecking the 7950 slightly, but I can't believe that it's enough that you can't at least wait a few months to see how Piledriver ACTUALLY performs with cards like that to make the decision.

Thing is is that im thinking that hell even if pd comes out and then more powerfull video cards come out...AMD will bottleneck those also...I mean a 15% performance increase? that can be done with an overclock...

That's true to an extent, and if you didn't already have an AM3+ board, I wouldn't even hesitate to say get the 3570K, but you do, so you might as well wait and see.

Alright,I mean 15%? if i got an 8150 i could overclock that...But is it near 2500k/3570k performance in games? i mean i feel like im bottlenecking my 7950 with a 6100

Have you overclocked your FX 6100 already? If you haven't, I would recommend you to do so.

hmm alright,i just saw some benchmarks stating the 3570k beats the 6100 astronomicly in gaming but its worth a shot waiting i guess so i dont have to get a whole new mobo

oh and also it says i installed 12.6 drivers for my 7950 on msi afterburner? i THINK i installed 12.7 but im not sure so i will install again.maybey that could be causing lower fps also?

Yeah no doubt :) but do you think a 3570k will bottleneck 2 or 3 7950's? and i might have to jump on that deal though hell $266 dollars! im amazed haha

Nice :) i also stumbled upon this thread,

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/cpus-motherboards/50084-return-amd-fx-my-ocd-amd-fx-8150-ocd-6990-review-first-results-up.html

Just alot of benchmarks showing that the 8150 isnt even bottlenecking the 6990 and keeps up with a 2500k in the games and sometime beats it 0.o not bad but yeah i might wait for PD just because the fact i have (Will) be getting an ROG crosshair V formula from a friend because im building him a gaming comp and thats his way of paying me lol as long as i give him my M5A97 mobo for that so i might stick with amd for a little longer but by the time i go to make a major upgrade or build a whole new system,I think i will give Intel a try. :) thanks guys for all the answers
