Cpu/Gpu Bottleneck

Hello, recently I was looking at buying the 2700k, since It is an upgrade from my amd athlon ii x3 435. I also have a GTX 550 Ti. I was wondering how substantial the upgrade would be and If the CPU would bottleneck the gpu without any noticeable change for gaming.

More about bottleneck
  1. The 550 Ti would bottleneck the 2700K, but it should still be a much better experience overall.

Ok, thanks. if I could get one more answer out of you I would greatly appreciate it. Out of the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge, Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E and the 2700k, do you have any recommendations? The 3570k doesn't appear worse for gaming on any of the benchmarks by a significant margin but the price is quite a bit cheaper. Thanks again by the way, not really used to upgrading thus I am fairly uneducated in these matters.

Honestly, I would go with the 3570K if this is mainly for gaming. Hyperthreading doesn't really help much in games and SB-E is just a bit of a waste of money for gaming.
