Hey guys, here's my first attempt to build my computer for work, I thank you in advance for your thoughts!

I'll use it primarily building and running excel financial models (multi-period/sheets 80 meg models) incl monte carlo (Excel 2007). Secondary functions are routine word and powerpoint docs, with the usual internet browsing. I use two screens (dell 2711).

I won't play games here neither watch TV, movies or listen to music. I have a life, just happen to use other systems for that :)

General information:
Approximate Purchase Date: April 2012

Budget Range: usd2000

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Country: uk

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor Resolution: 2560 x 1440

Additional Comments: i'd like it quiet

I couldn't find much as to what is the best build for computation hungry models in excel 2007, this is the best build I've come up with my research:

CPU: Intel CPU Core i7 3930K BX80619I73930K

Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth X79 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL

SSD: SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC256D/AM 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Desktop Upgrade Kit

HDD: Dell WD6000HLHX 600GB 3.5 inch Raptor SATA Hard Drive (no raid)

Sound: Creative Soundblaster card

video - XFX Radeon HD 4670

PSU:Corsair CMPSU-750AXUK Professional Series Gold 750W

CPU cooler: NH-D14 SE2011

Apart from the general question whether the overall build will be fast and stable running excel scenarios, I'm wondering if I really need the large NH-D14 or if the PSU will cut it for the parts installed.

Thanks a lot for your help !

Cheers, Sergio
p.s. I'm based in the UK

I didn't see a case in your list unless I'm missing it like torres,

if your case can fit the NH-D14 SE2011 go for it, I have the same and use them on most of my system and the normal one for my 1155 and some amd so go for it, it's been awesome and never had problem with it

I'd like Cosmos 2 but while I count the nickels I may end up with the Cooler Master HAF X or the Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred V3 Black Full Tower, not sure if full ATX is an overkill and a CM HAF 922 mid tower is sufficient for this build?
