hello everyone..
i recently bought a tascam us-122 usb-midi soundcard thingamy.
i can install the drivers and get everything sorted- the problem is that everytime my system reboots the drivers are not detected. the add new hardware window comes up, asking me to reinstall the hardware.
it's really irritating, and i don't really understand how it happens..
i'd be really grateful for a hand. tascam support is shit.

Have a look at the system devices... There will be a device marked as "?". Find out what it is. Probably your stick does not just ad a soundcard but also some other device for which you will need additional drivers?

Slap your computer upside the head and tell it "Bad computer. Don't Uninstall"

I'm not sure why your computer would do anything without your permission, sounds kind of odd. Spyware/Anti-Virus scan? Might also be driver conflicts, though I doubt it. When you installed the drivers, did you install them using Windows hardware device wizard, or an app that came with the CD? Try it both ways and see what happens.
