Phenom IIX4 945 (HDX945WFK4DGM),3.0GHz,2048KB,95W,rev.C3,SocketAM3,Quad-Core


AMD Phenom II X4 945 3 GHz Quad-Core (HDX945WFGMBOX) Processor



The first one being on my MB compatibility list the latter being one that is for sale that I would like to purchase provided the latter is the same and therefore compatible with my MB

Yes they are the same processor just packaged as a box or tray processor

Thanks for the info guys I thought they were but but I'm buying the latter at auctions so can't afford to be wrong. Can't wait to get it here and get it installed I've been running a 1.8 sempron since I built this system in '06 the asus m2a-vm motherboard has never been pushed to its total potential can't to tweak and peak it and see what this thing will really do...

This is the second question I've seen like this today, guys the important thing about a boxed heat sink is that it comes with a 3 year warranty while an OEM will only have one month. The warranty is worth the extra $10.
