My build ok?

I'm new to building computers but have researched things and think the build I have is decent but want someone else opinio. Things I'm most unsure about is the motherboard and videocard being decent

Looks OK, but I'd change your PSU choice to something more reputable.

What about something like this? http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=PSUCLM13042&name=COOLER-MASTER-600W-eXtreme-Power-Plus-SLI-Silent-1 and what the difference between the one I originally had? And do I need 600w or would 500 be fine?

The Extreme Power Plus PSUs tend to be overrated by a significant amount. The difference is internal. It's a difference in the quality of the parts. Some cheap PSUs use Chinese capacitors which rupture after a period of use.

So there will be a 3rd Gen i5 out soon? Do you know if it will be about same price?
