Hi,
i have been using my Viewsonic vx2253mh monitor with a VGA cable since the first time i started it up. I recently realised that i should be using it with a HDMI cable to take advantage of its 1080p capabilty.
When i go through the list of resolutions in the nvidia control panel under the list "PC" the highest resolution is 1680x1050, even though the native resolution is 1920x1080. On the "HD, SD" list the highest resolution is "1920x1080 (native)" but when i select that option the screen is cut off on all sides roughly to where the taskbar reaches. Also on the nvidia control panel, where it says "connector:", the only options are "HDMI - HDTV (Audio enabled)" and "HDMI - HDTV (Audio disabled)".
btw I am using a GTX 570 graphics card
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
