Solution jay_nar2012 Jul 29, 2012 In the EU (i'm in the UK), they use 240V at 50Hz, on some PSUs there is a little red switch to switch between voltages (120/240'). And yes you need to get a new cord- http://www.google.com/imgres?q=eu+plug&um=1&hl=en&client=opera&sa=N&rls=en&channel=suggest&tbm=isch&tbnid=1kkuddJLoWWKEM:&imgrefurl=http://www.ghdaustraliaperth.com/ghd-iv-styler-p-13.html&docid=biyziTamFB3-HM&imgurl=http://www.ghdaustraliaperth.com/images/1/plug.jpg&w=406&h=392&ei=VpwVUIjKH8q60QXg34D4AQ&zoom=1&biw=1366&bih=646
