True it would, but what if he wanted to get another 7950 to crossfire in the future? Two 6870's do not have an upgrade path into the future!

yea although that is true. The 7950 is a much! better choice in the future add a anthor 7950 and boom. do you know what 7950cf would do to the 6870cf :lol: Dont get the 6870 its last genration No offence intended

7950 is a great choice

I would stick with the sapphire card. Its cheaper, can still overclock and comes with the accessories to run a multi monitor set up.
