Intel HD graphics and discrete grahpics

I'm about to buy a build and I'm about to buy an intel core i3 2120 with Intel HD graphics but I'm also gonna use a discrete graphics card.How will I disable the Intel HD graphics?Does it disable automatically of will I have to disable it myself,If then how?

it should disable automatically when you plug in the new card. If it doesn't you can do it in the bios for your motherboard.

Just plug your monitor into the port on the graphics card, and your graphics card will take over. Of course, you have to install the relevant drivers first.
Intel HD Graphics are routed through the in-built display ports on the motherboard.
