Hi, Just wondering wether its worth putting an old 450gts card in my machine for dedicated physx.

System specs are:

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Mobo,
core i5 2500k @3.3 (4.6 in turbo)
8gb Kingston HyperX ddr3 1600
1.5gb gainward gtx 580 "good edition"@ 900MHz Core 2100MHz Memory @1150mV
2x 128gb crucial M4 ssd's in raid 0
500gb WD Caviar Blue/Black/Green (not sure) storage drive
Corsair h100 liquid cooler,
Corsair AX850 psu.
BenQ XL2410T 120Hz Monitor
Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Just want to know if there is any point in doing it. if i was to re install mafia 2 would there be a noticable wow factor?
The 450gts is just gathering dust and kind of want to put it to good use.

Performance is by no means bad as it is. Im just wondering if dedicated physx will make it even better (in the games that support physx ofc!)

Plan to get a second 580 in a few months as well as get the Corsair AX1200 PSU (think its the AX1200 correct me if im wrong) so power shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for any tips/advice in advance.

your psu is nice so i see no issues running a second card as dedicated physics
just make sure to have your main card in the first pcie slot ( closest to the cpu socket)
in nvidia panel you will have an option to either do physics on your CPU or a card
