Hi guys,

Am looking to build a $500-700 PC which I will use for mild data processing on 3 screens (one 1920x1200 and two 1280x1024) and gaming.

Have done some research and come up with what I believe to be a suitable configuration. Still confused about some stuff and not 100% set on some of the components yet so would appreciate suggestions or any tips to improve!

Case: Fractal Design Arc Mini

CPU: AMD FX-6100 (6x 3300 MHz, 3x 2048 kB, 8192 kB, Zambezi)

GPU: SAPPHIRE HD6850 (AMD Radeon HD6850, 1024 MB, 256 Bit, PCIe x16 v2.0, PCIe x16 v2.1)

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W or OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W?

Motherboard: Not completely sure. Has to be AM3+ and micro ATX.

Am thinking about the ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 but see a lot of very similar boards which makes it difficult to decide. Other candidates:

ASUS M5A78L-M
ASUS M5A78L-M LE
ASUS M5A78L-M LX
ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS
ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2
ASUS M5A88-M

Which is the difference between these and which is best?

Am also not sure what the difference is between DDR3 1333, 1600, 1800, 1866, 2000 etc. I see a lot of people going for '1600' which is why I chose it. Which would be best for my system?

Hard drive and optical drive I will decide on later.

Thanks in advance for your input!
