CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Current GPU: ATI 5570 HD 1gb PCIe, Current PSU: Rocketfish 500W, model number# RF-500WPS2

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Not too much of a fan of internet sites, but link them if you got them!
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:U.S.A.
PARTS PREFERENCES: I've used ATI cards (because most of them were either bought for me or what I could afford), but I would not mind trying something else. I heard that EVGA is a good company.
OVERCLOCKING: Never used OC
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: don't even know what these are..lol
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want a card to replace my low-mid card. I want something that will allow me to game with ALL the graphics and still maintain a good FPS. I was linked a card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0: linked at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] f4zoh3rztd
I would suggest going for a 6850 and a new Power supply.Your current PSU is of very poor quality and I doubt that it can deliver what it says it can.
A 6850 should allow you to play SC2 and other games of that nature on high settings. The 6850 is slightly faster than the GTX550ti.And it sits right about the middle between the GTX560.

Don't get the 550's they will let you down as far as preformance. I know because I have two of them and thay are OC'd and in SLI. Get the PSU and the 6850. that way you are still in your budget range.
You will see a good bit of difference between the two cards meaning your old one and the new one. I think Nvidia card are better on the high end meaing 560 and up. Any thing less is for AMD they cost less and don't require a lot of power. Good luck to ya
