Good low profile cpu cooler for OC 2500k?

I'm looking for a decent cooler thats low profile, but also good for overclocking.

I was originally planning on doing a h100 but the case I want, the dual 120mm fan ports won't fit any radiators.

The case side panel is pushed out but its too far down so stuff like a hyper 212 won't fit.

The only place where I can put a single 120mm cooler like an h80, I think might be too far for the block to reach, and a custom loop is out of the budget.

Any good low profile coolers that can overclock my 2500k to at least 4.0ghz?

Case is NZXT Vulcan, btw.

  1. When Bit-Tech did a review of the NZXT Vulcan Micro-ATX case they used a Gelid Tranquillo cpu heatsink with a Noctua NF-S12B ULN low profile 120mm fan.

Legit reviews also did a review. They used the Thermaltake SpinQ CPU cooler for air cooling. They also did a liquid cooled version mounting a Swiftech MRC320-QP radiator to the top of the case, XSPC dual Acrylic top with twin Swiftech MCP355 pumps, and all connected with 7/16ID x 5/8OD tubing:

According to a Hardware Heaven review the case will support cpu coolers up to 165mm in height:

BTW - The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus has an overall height of 158.5mm. It should fit in the case. it's going to be a tight fit but it should work.
  2. NZXT also state that the "CPU heatsink height support" is 165mm:
CPU heatsink height support | 165mm (without 35mm thick side 200mm fan)
