Does anybody know whether this two games have been fixed by a patch from nividia? I'm thinking of buying this card, but then i took an arrow to the....*** i'm just kidding haha. Ok it seems that gtx 590 scored even LESSER fps than gtx 580(with minimum fps, which is most crucial), which is ridiculous:

and in Arkham City
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7970-benc...
which went as low as 14, lower than gtx 580. So are they fixed yet or there is nothing we can do about it? I'm seriously doubiting this card now...

no need to get that card just go for an hd 7950 cheaper price and newer technology.
thanks for the reply sunkk! But i really wanted to get the flagship product, i don't really like to keep upgrading it all the time, just wanted to spend some fortune then last for awhile. I'm not sure if AMD will be releasing any more cards from 7000 series, and 7970 might not be the flagship card. Guess i will have to wait, again, for 600 series from nvidia, shall there be any improvements on games like Skyrim and Arkham, and the 7000 series from AMD

hd 7950 will be good and willl run better in higher resolution for about 3 years and skyrim is more cpu dependent so it will work perfectly and arkham will do fine and waiting for an nvidia kepler will be also good and it will be good to go with newer tech.

now you are happy i got it after some research it will do fine goodluck.
thanks man...i just discovered tom's results was from i5 2500 test bench. Did they do smth wrong or i5 2500k is bottlenecking GTX 590? should i get i7 2600k instead of i5 or is it just unneccessarily? BTW you own a 590?!! say, what's min FPS for arkham and skyrim?
I really appreciate your help bro, i really do
