I'm building a new computer and im going to use the same hard drive i used in my current computer. Do i have to fully erase the data before i install it into my new build OR will windows simply rewrite everything when i boot off the disk on first start up? Im looking for a completely fresh install, i want to start all the way over from scratch again. I have all my data backed up onto another drive and everything. Anyway, just lemme know what i have to do to go about using a preused HDD in an old build.

Thank you!

I think all your have to do is format the drive and it'll be good.

When you run the installer it will ask you where you want to install the OS, you will go to the advanced controls and you will delete the partitions then quick format the HDD.
