Missing D Drive and Spark near RAM

So I was just organising some stuff on my computer and realised that my D:\ drive has completely disappeared. Shortly after, the computer turned off and wouldn't turn back on again. I opened my case to find out what was wrong. I moved the wires from the PSU around and tried to turn it on and it worked. While I was putting the side back on, I hit the wires and it causes a sudden spark near the RAM and my computer turned off. Is there something wrong with the PSU? Does this normally happen when the wires touch the RAM sticks?

was the spark from the motherboard or cables? was it the actuall DIMM slot(s) that sparked or was it not the RAM but something else?

I'm not sure which, but as soon as the wires came in contact with the RAM sticks it sparked.
