More about build
  1. Go with this:
    i5-2500k
    asrock z68 extreme 3 gen 3
    Radeon 6850
    8gb corsair vengeance ddr3
    Corsair tx650V2
    500GB HDD
    Same dvd drive
    NZXT Phantom.

The 550ti isn't really that good of a card, and your choice of power supply is horrible. Ditching one 550ti gives you enough for an i5-2500k and a radeon 6850.
  2. I'm with the AMD platform as I've got parts for it already which is saving me more than the graphics card would. Bad PSU though?
  3. What parts exactly?
  4. This topic has been moved from the section CPU & Components to section Systems by Mousemonkey
  5. The CPU and Mobo are set. I got a really good deal on the two GPU's as well.
