Archived from groups: alt.cellular.cingular (More info?)

I've had this phone (S710a) for a couple of months now and have read about a
new firmware release. Does anyone know how to get newer firmware, how to
flash it, etc? Also, if anyone has flashed their phone, what does the new
firmware offer in terms of functionality?
