What do I need to connect 3.0 USB

So my case has two 3.0 USB ports on the top and I was wondering, how do I connect the 3.0 to where they need to go? What do I need to connect them? Is the only thing that I can do with it is to put it into the 3.0 ports in the back?

you plug them into the USB3 header on your motherboard if it has one.

And if your motherboard doesn't have one of those headers, you'll need to buy a pcie x1 card that will provide a header for you. Here's a good example:

I guess I should have said that the case (Zalmen z11) has it so that the cables running from the 3.0 on top has a 3.0 USB end. My guess it that they want it to run to the back, but I was wondering if there was an adapter or someting that I could get instead.
